1. On Sunday which is the eighth day of the month of Tammuz in the year

2. 1391 (= 1080) according to the counting by which we are accustomed, in

3. Fusṭāṭ, Egypt, which lies on the Nile River, in the courtyard of our dwelling, we are present in the house

4. of court to records (those objects) held in the synagogue under the authority of the attendants

5. of the synagogue of the Babylonien. Including ⁽¹⁾ the five books of the Torah;

6. ⁽²⁾ a juzʿ […] and the hafṭarot, on parchment; […]

7. and black scarlet cloth with yellow from the house of Sanī

8. al-Dawla (lit. exalted of the State), and written on it is [...] and black scarlet kerchief

9. with white from the house [of …] kerchief in [green]

10. with blue from Abī al-Ḥusayn b. ʾAbī al-Bayān, an ancient scarlet kerchief

11. black with white […] ancient and a delicate white kerchief

12. from selected Dabīqī linen and piece red brocade cloth and on it is written ‘Faraḥ’(i.e. the name of the donor) and scarlet cloth for prayer stands.

13. And pieces of scarlet cloth for a book of book of hafṭarot and a covering for reading desk,

15. And two pieces of Maghrebi scarlet and a prayer shawl for priests and a green curtain

21. without vocalisation; and ⁽⁹⁾ a codex of a fine Torah, endowed by the daughter of Joseph

22. al-Dhahabī; and ⁽¹⁰⁾ a codex, with a wooden cover, which was bought from ʾAbī al-Ẓāhir b. al-Qaṭamānī

23. ⁽¹¹⁾ a codex of eight (books of the) Prophets endowed by the daughter of Ibn Ezra;

26. Ibrāhīm; ⁽¹⁴⁾ and a codex […], containing the Writings, with a wooden cover, it opens

28. Prophets, with a translation (into Arabic?), in a Babylonian script [bought with the money from]
